Crazy things some translators do

When an interpreter gets ready for an assignment and his bathroom is occupied for a long time, he must be innovative.   This translator misspelled the last name. He did not pay attention to what the word Shit means in English.

An interpreter in Cairo rushing his kids to school before starting his day.   At a border crossing: Chick point instead of Check point... What a difference!

The word Maqha in Arabic means Café’ . Here is translated as Nescafe.   The word "Magh-sa-la" in Arabic means: Wash or Laundry. This translator chose Car Laundry instead of Car Wash.

Someone misinterpreted the design.   Teleconference setup in an Arab country. Even the interpreter is involved.
